Honoring the Inventor of the Hamburger
On this page you will find links to some artifacts we have collected concerning the fact that Fletcher Davis (known as Old Dave to some, and as Uncle Fletch to others) was the first to make and sell the ground beef sandwich we have all come to know as the Hamburger. These artifacts support the fact that he first made and sold his hamburgers in Athens, Texas.
